Evolutionary Learning Laboratories Workshop
Sonoma State's Organization Development MA Program is proud to host a workshop on Evolutionary Learning Laboratories, on January 4-6, 2013, to be presented by Dr. Ockie Bosch, Professor of Systems Design and Complexity Management at the University of Adelaide in Australia.  Dr. Bosch has established evolutionary learning labs all over the world, particularly but not exclusively in developing countries. One of the sites that he has been working with is a UNESCO biosphere reserve project in Vietnam. UNESCO has been so impressed with the quality of the work he has done there that they are interested in using the same methodology in other biosphere reserve sites. His team has also been working with top government levels in China.  The workshop will include exercises in developing a causal loop diagram, putting the diagram into a Bayesian network and identifying leverage points for systemic intervention, in order to draw up a master plan for managing the issue under consideration.  Space is limited, so early registration is advised.
