NEW HOMEMADE FOOD LAW PASSED
AB 1616 was passed and signed into law which allows many homemade food products to be prepared and sold without the requirement of a commercial kitchen. Read more here.

GRANT AWARDED!
On 9/13/12 our Local Economy Institute was awarded a $10,000 grant from the Threshold Foundation for our work in building resilient communities.
